YES!!!… No!… Crap.

Today was a good day. After (yet another stress-induced) insomniatic episode, I was out of bed after not utilizing its sleeping capabilities and at the gym at 5 a.m. Weather was balmy and added to the pre-workout happy effect of a great treadmill run with a sweet podcast rollin’ out on iPJHiser. I have an exam this afternoon, so I study a bit more, even though my confidence level is fairly high. I fit into my favorite Abercrombie cords I haven’t been able to get over my thighs in over eight months. En route to campus, I notice an annoying belt chirping sound in the T-baby, so I make an overdue oil change appointment… with an “oh yeah, by the way, there’s this NOISE” amendment. Car porter is in my old industry, if I want to do some side work, exchange business/networking information ONLY. And now Chase needs to deduct another $600 in car repairs from my vacation funds. Seriously, every time I decide to take a road trip.

Crap.

Reading: (Apparently along with the woman sharing the dealership waiting area) “Spin Cycle,” master’s program information for undisclosed location in Boston received in the mail today, and the circular from Trader Joe’s.

Listening: “Chelsea” by Stefy, “Portions for Foxes” by Rilo Kiley and “Last Request” by Paolo Nutini.

To do-ing: Packing, sending networking emails, studying for research exam, working on essay questions for take-home exam, ripping up and throwing away of old unnecessary ex-boyfriend photos (YES!), painting my nails “Red Red Rhine.”
