I've stopped the streetcar with my buffness!

I've stopped the streetcar with my buffness!

Check out my freakin’ arms, people! They’re almost twig-like compared to an awful Facebook photo tag of fat, flabby arm from the beginning of summer.

I’ve lost 7 pounds in as many weeks. More than an inch from my thigh — and just about an inch from my arm (bicep). Every measurement (sadly, from bust too) has decreased, on account of running 3 times a week, the 100 Push-Ups program and eating healthier, smaller portions.

I am only 3 pounds away from my target weight for JANUARY! I never imagined that I would even lose ten pounds in four MONTHS, let alone just mere weeks. To be honest, the first four-five weeks, aside from measurements, I wasn’t seeing a difference on the scale, save for a half pound. Then, at our Week #6 Saturday weigh-in, I lost almost three pounds.

And another two-and-a-half at last week’s (which I’m sure were on account of my 5K). It’s the first time in a couple years that I have been “in the teens” with my weight. I need to remember to stay on task, as this week I seriously lazed out from my running schedule — only twice this week (I haven’t slept so well). Interval training starts tomorrow for me — I’ll try to run/walk for about an hour to compensate for missing a 15-minute run through the week. AND I have another 5K on task for October. Let’s hope my time is not in the slow-assed 35-minute pace group again!

I’m going to be awesome come cruise time.

Congrats! You look great. I feel inspired. I am the fattest I have been in my life – counting when I was 9 months pregnant. Haha… seriously, you make me wanna run right now. Take care chica.
