My classes went pretty smoothly. I already skipped one upon discovering there was an “online version” only to get online to register and find it’s full. First big M-Fing yeah. Sorry, teach and see you Thursday, I guess. Dammit. The good thing is when I left, there was still signs of daylight and it didn’t bother me too much knowing I have to walk practically eighteen blocks and up Payne to get to my car. OK, it wasn’t quite that far, but we here at the Pursuit know the propensity for a bit o’ what we like to call “Stretching the Truth.” So, something like 3 blocks maybe… I walk up the street. I walk down the street. I walk up the street (again). My car is not there. I question a student if they’re towing (poor guy all worried about me wandering the street and offering a ride to the campus police — thanks, Guy!). I deny his graciousness, but aimlessly continue down the street hitting my clicker hoping to hear the alarm. No dice. Then I cross the parking lot.
… and yes, my car is one street over. Feh. Little bit of overwhelming stress, we have, no?
Also, why-oh-why is my site blocked at my favorite Caribou. *sigh* Hopefully this posting has minimal grammatical errors and the daily recommended amount of ellipses. I also have three days left until I leave the country and I’m fucking around online at the coffee shop with my new wireless card. My suitcase will pack itself, oh yes… it will.
