Well, I suppose I should at least acknowledge the holiday, right? Remember, I only celebrate drinking holidays… I guess I just created a new one. And don’t-mind-if-I-do, but I will have some champagne truffles from Sweet Designs in Lakewood, please.

The single friends and I will check out Cleveland Magazine’s Crush singles party tonight after work.

Reason #8,734,002 to have a drink tonight: The dress shop called; my wedding dress came in. (Yes, I was that close). I’m over it, but I do have a $487.15 balance on the dress — feel free to hit my tip jar.

Dearest Mel,

Happy Valentines day!! I cant believe it has been 3 months since I met you … Since then, I have grown to know the type of person that you are and what you mean to me. You have always been a great listener and have always been that caring voice at the other end who knows the right words to say and best advice to give… Even though we have not seen each other, you have showered me with beautiful pictures and funny emails that no matter what, always brighten up my day and make me smile. I have never had a relationship like this before and always had my doubts about those who do….but after meeting someone like you, my opinion has definately changed. All in all I want you to know that you are very special to me and you hold a place inside me that cant be replaced.
