AB woke me up in bed with coffee (Dooley’s included) and peanut butter-walnut banana pancakes, then we took advantage of Black Friday. We drove out to Cleveland Heights for a little selfish holiday shopping, and took advantage of a doorbuster at Brigade (on Coventry). EVERYTHING in the store was 40% off from 10-12. It was packed. And I got my gray skinny jeans. And a Cheap Monday double-zipper gray cardigan, and a really sweet G-star Raw top.
Shop Local (for myself) day complete! Even if it became a very, very long day. We were in Brigade for over three hours! Seriously. Patience is best served with Christmas Ale. Just saying.
Then it was time for the holiday stuff — finding a tree (we were given some really sweet vintage ornaments from AB’s mom) and liquor for our party tomorrow to coordinate with Winterfest (Rozi’s wine house in River, ‘course!)
Our first Christmas tree is up:

Well… our first TWO Christmas trees:

Technically speaking, these are Baby Blue Eyes potted spruces. We can give both plants away after the holidays to someone with a yard.
Very green Christmas idea, no?
