Hey there, hi there, ho there, Campers. Who’s making pancakes?
No matter it was Monday, we found a way to cram as much alcohol into our night out before working man’s bedtime. As you have probably figured out, my friends and I all enjoy Mexican for our birthday dinner of choice. No exceptions last night, with a double celebration for two of my good friends at Cozumel. We chose the location on Brookpark, tucked away among all those boobie venues.
Cozumel has an AWESOME $1.99 margarita special on Mondays, and of course, perfectly greasy/spicy Mexican food. Never straying from my standard, I had my three cheese-and-onion enchiladas, beans, rice and loaded it all with sour cream. With my plate nearly clear, I already decided on dessert — duh, Mexican fried ice cream drizzled with honey!
Since this was a happy hour dinner, and we all wanted to be happy for two, we continued the party at our Kenilworth Tavern in Lakewood. Mixing varieties of shots on Saturdays normally is never a good thing (yea, for Mondays!), but I had a bomb pop waiting when I arrived. Then shortly thereafter, a shot of Bailey’s. Then a blueberry lemonade thing. Then a flaming Dr. Pepper. There may have been another, but my brain has apparently been killed by alcohol. Food, again, saved the hangover with a giant order of fried mac-n-cheese. Wow, I’m craving more. Diet, be gone.
Surprisingly, I feel alright this morning (I’m at work before 8, so that must mean something). Maybe I really CAN handle my alcohol! Suck on this, 30s!

I love enchiladas…..those that you described, sound awesome!
I also love Dr. Pepper, yet for some reason, I’ve never had a flaming Dr. Pepper.
What’s up with that?
I need to fix that.
