Grand Openings in the Warehouse District to make your entry-way into Spring a little less snowy:
FLO – a new twist on your nightly drunken binge! I saw the take-out and late-night menus yesterday. All I can say, is Panini’s you’re going down! Made-to-order omelets, an “Elvis Special” (which, by the way, is a PB-J and banana/bacon combo sandwich), AND open until 4 am on weekends. My good friend Dianna(‘s) may have to be pushed off the bus to make room in my life for this place. Hopefully the restaurant comes equipped with a late-night-diner-antics friendly staff… and hopefully there are no creamers on the table.
Tequila Ranch/Killer Burrito – the addition to the Liquid Living family. Live bands, all chicks behind the bar (Look at dem girls with the Dazzy Dukes on… eh, where was I?), a mechanical bull (on nights when there’s no band), and burritos… HUGE burritos… HUGE burritos when you’re drunk and hungry. No country line-dancing required. There’s a great list of local bands scheduled to appear.
Bar Flyy – I don’t know much about this place yet other than it’s on the corner of the alley that leads into Wish (mid-point of W. 6th in the Warehouse). Great location, shitty logo. Hopefully, a new dance place with club music (and I don’t mean Kiss 96.5 hip-hop shit) spinning.
Rumor: Do I smell an Aqua revival? Apparently the BEST bar/club/patio in the city has some potentially new life flowing through it. Not open or even close, but this would be a great summer if someone, ANYONE opened up an after-hours dance place. Again, rumor mill at its best… a girl can dream, can’t she?
