(thanks, Pittgirl!)
On my way into my office building, a woman held the door for me, but scoffed and let go as I squeezed in. Walking slowly behind her through the tiny hall corridors, she began humming church hymns.
I’m pretty sure my shirt is too low cut.
Whew! It is too hot (I’m complaining, I know, but I actually dreamed of winter last night and got EXCITED). Anyway, lots of stuff happening over the next couple days that I am uber-giddy about– none of which are my dangling prepositions, but perhaps other things that “dangle”. I know, can’t take the perverts anywhere.
Esteban has a soundtrack to drive along WITH (fuck you, grammar, my edit button is broken today). My Taawd (wait, did I just claim him?) turned me on to Gavin DeGraw, and I am loving a few tracks right now: “She Holds a Key,” “Follow Through” and “I’m in Love With a Girl.” (“Follow Through” is from his 2003 album, but it’s new to me and it’s one of my favorites). Good stuff.
Of course, being summer, I usually listen to a lot of hard-crushed, wonky dancing bits. Esteban gets out the glowsticks to: “Protect & Entertain” by Busy P (Crookers Remix, of course), “Life is Boring” by Cazals (again, more Crookers) and “Bubblegum” by Thunderheist (Hatchmatik Birdflu in June Remix). OK, ALL the dirty songs of Thunderheist. SUUUUU-WEET.
The random shuffle of “Me So Horny” this week was so completely awesome.
