Seriously. Who’s playing this on the jukebox?

This weekend was a Taurus-I’m-a-Loner Weekend. I didn’t think I would make it through Saturday seeing as to how wasted my Home Opener was. I met some friends out at Around the Corner for a couple brews and wings for game time. They left me early and I stayed behind to make friends with all the lady bartenders of the afternoon. I figured at some point one of the obnoxious guys at the table behind would make himself known. Never happened. I left later-than-the-9th-inning and took in some darts and beer pong at a friend’s residence. Yes, I said beer pong.

Sunday I enjoyed the game compliments of Cox-induced Channel 58. For some reason today, I waited until the game ended until heading over to the Lakewood Village Tavern. Did you ever just crave a buffalo chicken wrap? They are the best there! Caught the Kahne win in Nascar, the Mickelson win in the Masters, and an episode of Family Guy. Again, stuck my loner ass into on the stools at the bar and made some interesting friendships along the way. Even had the bartender talk some guy into bringing us some Blizzards. Chicken wrap, beer, cigarettes, chocolate blizzard with Reese’s Peanut Butter cups and Reese’s Pieces, sports and Family Guy. Does a Sunday get any better? Well, I suppose if Gray’s Anatomy weren’t a repeat… and I could wear my slippers in the bar.
