Random awesomeness. And awesomeness means nudity, of course.

Before I head to vacation, I MUST tell you another awesome story of accidental nudity.

After driving to-and-from South Bend in less than 24 hours to spend New Year’s Eve with our friends (and, let’s face it, Czech Absinthe), we stayed in for the remainder of the weekend to prepare for our upcoming vacation.

So, on Saturday night, while packing (and AB making an AWESOME “New Year’s” dinner of stuffed pork chops, kielbasa and sauerkraut), I kept seeing flashes outside our window. I assumed it was yet another wedding party having staged photos taken on Euclid/4th.

Then, I noticed the flash was from INSIDE a room of the Hyatt (at almost street level, mind you). His was a very, very dark room — backlit by a laptop monitor or something of the sort.

OF COURSE we turned off all the lights to see better.

With each flash, you could see movement. NAKED movement. POSED naked movement. And the photographer standing on the bed, then in the window, then at the other end of the room.

CLOSE YOUR CURTAINS, YOU FREAKS. Oh, are you talking to me?

Because it totally consumed me for a good hour or so. I want to know what was happening! It was impossible to detect a video camera, so I’m assuming it was porn of the amateur photo breed. The flashes were incredibly noticeable from street level, as I watched many look up to figure out the dealio. AB suggested Googling “East 4th porn” which I find hilarious.

Mostly because that search would result in pictures of us stumbling into the kitchen attempting to brew coffee at 6am. Naked, duh.

Living downtown certainly has its… uh, perks.
