This week I did it: I answered a pesonal ad. (With strong opposition from all walks of life around me). I won’t go too into detail, but I laughed when I read this fairly-new-to-Cleveland guy’s ad. Seemed witty, fun, personable… eh, bored? I clicked through and sent off a comparably-witty response… through my yahoo email account. Yes, the same yahoo account I use on a daily basis that reflects my first-and-last name in all correspondences. Immediately, I was no longer some anonymous “woman-seeking-man” poster.
Funniest of all, when he read my name, he knew who I was (where else, but from my blog)… and I knew (of) him. Can’t blame a girl for trying?
