Obsessive stuffs… and stuff.

I've felt as though I've been drifting through some dense fog. It's not hormones (that's another week off), but some seriously swinging mood shifts. I realized that I've been dealing with a slight depression having my sister leave for Arizona again. Sigh, its just sad we're not altogether anymore.

I was also really stressed about a "sales" meeting with a top tier potential real estate client. First off, I'm not a sales person, so much as I'm a desk person. But since I'm running the show in the escrow department, they wanted me.

Not unlike interviews, I always feel as though I'm babbling, talking nonsensical nothingness… and forgetting practically everything about what I do… for like every day for the last five years. OK, maybe not "forget," so much as I have difficulty verbalizing my job.

For those not familiar with my enchilada obsession (seriously, where have you been?), you will not understand my Friday night disgusting Mexican meal at La Fiesta. What happened to this place?

My 'ladas were so completely overcooked, they were unbreakable by fork and crisped so long, there was a complete evaporation of enchilada sauce. Let us not forget the double serving of (disgusting, runny) beans I received on my plate, when I clearly asked for half beans/half rice. Good thing really for all that salt on my margarita glass. Worked nice washing all the gross taste from my mouth — and we all know my obsession with salt, right? (Blech).

Then I took another turn into Pissy Land, dropped my boyfriend off at home, and met up with a friend at Bar Louie's in Legacy. Great suburban crowd where I didn't feel undressed with my cowboy boots on (c'mon, they're trendy cowboy boots) or out of place when I began wandering around strangers on the look-out for menthol cigarettes. Yes, I cheated on the whole "non-smoking" thing again.

Sweet for the week: I won tickets and a DVD from newsnet5.com for the Shaker Cinemas UA 90th Anniversary weekends. Now, I have to figure out how to pick up a prize during work hours.

These are are few of my favorite obsessions for the week:

Reading: "My Friend Leonard" by James Frey and "Honeymoon with my Brother" by Franz Wisner.

Esteban-in: Yoav, Girl in a Coma and Sugar Koma … What's with the comas?

TV: Taboo on the National Geographic Channel. Seriously interesting subjects from gender identity to voodoo to body art. I've decided that once I finish my bachelors program, I will concentrate on some sort of sociology subject based on gender and sexuality for my
masters. Or I'm quitting everything to work with dogs.

And speaking of television, I cannot watch regular TV
anymore. My attention span has been reduced to DVR skipping past
anything remotely time-wasting, non-bitch fighting… and just boring.
It makes an easier time getting through Moment of Truth and The Bad Girls Club… And Joey Grecos monologues in Cheaters. But how pissed was I
when Sunday's Cold Case had only fifteen minutes recorded. Apparently,
bumped by fucking Big Brother. Argh!!
