Muy Caliente!

Ouch. One too many pitchers of margaritas on Cince de Mayo! Started the event fka Drunkass Friday with an early shut-down day at the office with some friendly mexicans at La Fiesta out dere on the east side o’ town.

Somewhere around 9, we treck further into the unknown (aka Mel’s former east-side hometown) and hit this cute little martini bar connected to some hotel in Mentor. I think it’s called Billy’s. Mmmm, Cherry Kiss martinis. I finish two (plus some extra side-car-of-the-same-concoction-shot-thingy). We were completely done at midnight. I always love when I have the opportunity to hang with the girls I grew up with. Sharing old crazy stories all night… *sigh* Realized we were really bad growing up. One birthday down, next to go… (MINE!) Being as that my birthday falls on a Tuesday this year, it’s only necessary to stretch the celebrations and libations as long as hangovers allow.

Started the pre-party process with a Medium Guatemalen. Coffee, that is, and continued to my salon girl Cathy to get my hair did and acquire a much-needed gossip hour. Had to rush home to get my condo ready to view for my friend coming in from Chi-town … like seriously, make your bed already! Geesh! Instant room makeover.

Tonight’s the ladies’ night on the town. If ya see me, wish me an early Happy 29th (I like sunflowers, dark chocolates, emeralds, and Jack Daniels)… or like, go on MySpace and leave me a birthday comment.

Ooh, and by the way, I am officially reneging my single status.
