OK, I suppose I shouldn’t be shocked to see this Santa Claus ad coming from PETA, but — wow!

Heh… coming.
So, we got poor lil’ Santa not able to get it up because the kiddies put out cow’s milk. Um, I think it’s safe to say that Santa should probably remain “unarmed” while delivering his goods to strangers’ homes. Especially with the little kids hiding out in his or her bed.
I mean, unless you have some kind of creepy Santa fetish, then you’re leaving him milk and Viagra, right?
Be that as it may, I think it’s wholly irresponsible on behalf of PETA to suggest such a thing, being that there is NO PROOF OR EVIDENCE. Even worse, is that soy milk is NOT a great substitute for regular doses of dairy — say, as drinking a glass of milk a day. It’s horrible for blood pressure — even vegans know you cannot eat tofu on a daily basis. It’s been PROVEN to cause changes in the menstrual cycles of women after drinking on a continual basis. A chemical in soy products is known to mimic estrogen. Me thinks estrogen (ie: soy) would have the exact result PETA suggests as preventing.
I drink rice milk, as I never was able to really tolerate the heaviness of milk (even when drinking hormone-free organic skim, I watered it down). I like to drink HEALTHY milk and eat local dairy products (NO HORMONES), but drinking glasses of milk is not a regular part of my diet — typically just with a bowl of organic cereal. I receive my calcium intake by (duh) cheese, tubs of cottage cheese and yogurt.
Yes, PETA always gets our attention (I like the naked tiger ladies in cages downtown), but what do you think about this ad, outside of being very clever? Do you consider PETA a credible source?
