I have a new hero in Dara Torres. If you’re unfamiliar with Olympic swimming, she just set the American record time for the 50-meter freestyle — and she’s 41-years-old! Not to mention, she took “time off” to have a child AND has one of the most incredible 40-year-old female bodies I have ever seen. Seriously.

I ended up in some crazy isomniatic world last night watching news at 2 a.m. and marveling at her accomplishment. This is a huge middle finger for anyone that mutters the words: it’s too late.

    I saw her on the Today Show. She made a great point — The water doesn’t know what age she is.
