I have great friends. Good times, bad times, drunk times, they always lend a warm heart, an open ear and sometimes, a tasty beverage. I get a text last night during my Toast to the Trail event with an offer of a FREE ticket to see Nine Inch Nails tonight at the Q. Words cannot describe how incredibly excited I am today. And I’m sure I owe him a few beers pre-show for being so gracious.
Now, on to telling more of my minions what they hell you should be doing this weekend. Sunday is Walk+Roll Cleveland in Rockefeller Park on MLK. Great fun. Get your asses, your bikes and your asses on your bikes down there, starting at 11. During those closed street hours, listen to Hungarian music at 1, then Opera in Italian at 4:30, in each of their respective gardens. I’m still battling to find my best mode of transportation that day, as I truly hate driving and parking around University Circle. I imagine I could park at my office and bike down Cedar Hill (yay, awesome with no helmet… not). Or I could park downtown somewhere, ride my bike to UC. I need someone to show me how to attach my bike to the front of RTA, by the way. I read the instructions on RTA’s website, but I can envision a bus-full of impatient riders upon my realization that I have fucking clue what I’m doing.
At 5 p.m. (Gosh, I probably should just twitter fuck everyone), the Warehouse District shuts down for live music and a block party. Should be good times. Who’s buying the beer, friends?
