Today, just minding my own business and reading the Sunday paper at Dad’s house, waiting for the game to
start, I find a story in the News Herald about blogging. Continuing to page A7:
A popular area blog, “Life, Liberty, and Pursuit of Your Boyfriend,” has a hookline of “Ramblings of a 20-something Cleveland Chick.” The chick, Mel, gives out plenty of advice about guys, partying, and friendship. Her racy blog is decorated with pictures of herself and her posse (??) as they pound the pavement of Cleveland’s trendy Warehouse District. It wouldn’t be a stretch to say she has the “Sex and the City” of the Cleveland blogs, especially with some of the tip lists she puts together, which include how to catch a cheating boyfriend.
According to Mel: “If he lies about something small, he lies about something large and if she’s just a friend, he should have no problem introducing the two of you.”
Thanks, Kate, for the nice write-up! I suppose that means I better get back to writing some juicy stuff for all
my new readers that will come from this. Shit. I had to take the section from my dad’s.
