Thursday night’s birthday bash for Liquid sucked ass. I just wanted to make that notation permanent, in case I haven’t made it clear. It was a horrible way to start off my weekend. A waste of a night out. I was happy with my Panini’s during my drive home at 12:30a.m. though.
Friday night, things started to pick up a bit! I met some fellow bloggers down at the Captain’s Game in Eastlake. (Kouz’s Krazy Krew in full effect!) You can’t beat watching a baseball game in lawn seats with being able to heckle the players. I think even Jesse Schmidt appreciated the enthusiasm —even if we were throwing mad obscenities in his direction. He gave us the “ssshhh!” finger once, then at the end of the 8th, threw us the fly ball he caught. Of course the night was not complete without the REAL Captain, some free smakstiks, and homemade tee-shirts made for our own Kevin Kouzmanoff! It was a fun night to make some new friends.
I ended the night with an awesome eggplant parm (they roll/stuff it with ricotta! the BEST!) at the restaurant my dad’s band plays at — Fazio’s Too. Then Saturday welcomed the return of Miss Spider Steph to Cleveland. My sis, Jen, Steph and I met up for an interesting night at Liquid. Apparantly I missed the memo that it was Playboy Centerfold night. Really, I would have attempted to show some cleavage or something.
We followed up with some dancing at the Blind Pig where some disgusting pig decided it would be fun to lay his penis out on my sister while she was dancing. That was definitely the cue to call it a night. Did he think she would lay down and do it right there?
