80s night and present tense

If you haven’t hit Mercury on a Tuesday night in Cleveland, you don’t know what you’re missing! Every Tuesday is 80′s night and the lounge is ALWAYS packed.  I was 80s-rocking my bright white flats on the dance floor.

Today I’m getting over-and-through the hump. I cannot believe less than a week I’m back in school. I’m already starting to miss the summer, but it will be nice to be set into a routine again.

I’m going to my first pre-season Brown’s game this Saturday.  I’ll be decked out in my orange-and-brown. I’ll be downtown earlier than I’ve ever been before… um, scratch that… I almost forgot about St. Patty’s Day. Thanks for the tix, Dave.

So the weekend is set for MellieMel’s last summer installment. No more Shooters on Sundays. It’s almost too sad.

I have made my official declaration of my moving plans. Arizona, it is! My applications were officially sent for Arizona State University yesterday, for Spring semester. I plan to be leaving Cleveland just before Christmas. I have been doing a lot of reflection and catching up with old friends recently. The guys that I meet don’t seem to understand why I have no desire to date. I just want to enjoy the company of my friends now before I leave.

I have less than 4 months of time in my big city; I’m not about to go and get all lovey with someone.
